FABRIC PRINTING
You will learn about the screen printing technique. You can bring a T-shirt or two (or a pillowcase, an apron, or some other piece of fabric), that you will print yourself using patterns from the screens that will be provided. You will choose a pattern (or a combination of several of them) and learn something new about colours and composition. We will also talk about advanced techniques and possible additions to the pattern.
T-shirts and other fabrics that participants want to print on should be pre-washed and in lighter colours – preferably white. The best results are expected with fabrics consisting predominantly of natural fibres (cotton, silk …).
Duration: 2 hours.

WEAVING
We will make simple cardboard looms and by weaving colourful ribbons and yarns create a proper work of art. We will combine different textures, colours, and weaving methods.
Weaving is a kind of meditation and the final product can be a beautiful decoration. For the finishing touch, you can decorate your product with fringes, tassels, feathers, and decorative beads. The level of difficulty is adjusted to the age of the participants.
