Maribor Pottery Centre and Uniceramic Design brand were established gradually and with great patience. They are a result of hard work which included experimenting with different techniques and a wide selection of clays. Every piece of Uniceramic Design pottery is unique and is made to brighten up your home or to add a finishing touch to a culinary experience in many restaurants. All products are food, dishwasher and oven safe.

Nina Dečman and Suzana Rajh run a wide range of pottery workshops. The Maribor Pottery Centre is a place where you can express your creativity, relax or just come to get your hands and aprons dirty. They will guide you through a relaxing experience where you’ll connect with nature and create a unique piece of stoneware, which can become an original present with your personal touch or a memory of an unforgettable experience.
POTTERY WORKSHOPS
Our pottery workshops are suitable for beginners and all levels of experience – children, families, small groups, and individuals.
Your finished products will be left to dry and then glazed and fired. This way they’ll become functional items. You can pick them up after approximately 10 days, and if you can’t, we will mail them to you (with additional delivery charges).
POTTERY WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN
Each participant makes 2 items – one with the wheel-throwing technique and one with the hand-building technique. Finished items can be decorated with one of the available techniques.
Duration: 1,5 hours.
Price: 20 EUR/participant.
POTTERY WORKSHOP FOR FAMILIES
Each participant makes 2 items – one with the wheel-throwing technique and one with the hand-building technique. Finished items can be decorated with one of the available techniques.
Duration: 2 hours.
Price: 25 EUR/participant.
POTTERY TRIAL WORKSHOP
Each participant makes 2 items – one with the wheel-throwing technique and one with the hand-building technique. Finished items can be decorated with one of the available techniques.
Duration: 2 hours.
Price: 30 EUR/participant.
POTTERY EXPERIENCE DAY
Each participant makes at least 2 items with the wheel-throwing technique or/and with the hand-building technique. Finished items can be decorated with one of the available techniques.
During the workshop, you will enjoy a local dessert served on a plate that is decorated with one of the Maribor city landmarks, which you can keep as a souvenir.
Duration: 3 hours.
